Streamlined accounting services to help non-profits help the world
Morgan & Morgan CPAs understands that many of its non-profit clients view audit compliance as a necessary evil required to attain the funding that will allow them to better serve their constituents. We are not the “Bad Guys.” Our goal is to provide a true value-added experience that will position your organization for better financial performance and make it more competitive for grants and other new funding sources.
Morgan & Morgan CPAs has extensive experience in non-profit accounting, currently providing audit and tax return services to a growing number of well-regarded organizations in the West Michigan area and nationwide. The firm has 17 years of experience providing assurance and tax services to companies in the non-profit sector. This work includes consulting, strategic planning, design of internal controls, preparation of IRS-990 tax filings, GAAP financial audits and other tax and assurance services. The majority of our non-profit clients receive state and/or federal grant money which must be accounted for in a single audit according to OMB Circular A-133.
In our opinion, the stakeholders of our many current non-profit clients have confidence in the viability of these organizations because they have confidence in Morgan & Morgan CPAs. We believe the root of that confidence is the continued success of our clients and the strength of the internal controls we have tested on their behalf. In a larger sense, Morgan & Morgan CPAs belongs to the same family of stakeholders. Non-profit organizations are a core part of our business. Our continued viability is largely dependent upon our reputation within the non-profit community.
